Bern Bass Podcast 137 – Esti (SWISS NATIONAL DAY SPECIAL 2026)

Ethnomusicologist, curator and promoter in some of the most legendary venues in the country, co-founder of Miniclic Records label, and an active member of numerous crews in Switzerland, France, and the United Kingdom, Esti from Neuchâtel is a woman of the shadows. From artist management across Europe to producing pirate radio shows in London, and organizing foundational raves in the swiss woods to capturing images for the most legendary and unconventional nightlife venues in the drum and bass historic capital, Esti finally got on the turntables in 2022 after 5 years of groundwork studying the jungle scene between London and her hometown. With a passion for bass, broken beats, dancehall-infused sounds, and the orchestral sample chaos, it’s beyond the 160 bpm range where her soul takes flight on a journey that oscillates through the history of the hardcore continuum. Oldskool, newskool, groovy, and soulful sub-bass guaranteed.
We are very happy to feature Esti and her booming, colourful selection of styles in our 2026 National Day Special, enjoy!
