Touchy began his DJ journey in the late ’90s in St. Louis, Missouri, shaped early on by the selections of the local Faded Crew, Phantom 45 out of Chicago, and Bay Area legends Rinse and Flux. A formative trip to London in 1998 spent digging through crates at Blackmarket Records and attending a Metalheadz night cemented what has become a lifelong connection to Drum & Bass. His sets continue to dig deep, guided less by trend and more by instinct—moving fluidly through soulful, shimmering, melodic, and haunting sounds that prioritize feeling over flash. Over the years, he’s shared the stage with luminaries of the scene such as Klute and High Contrast. With a rootless spirit and years spent in far-flung places, Touchy now returns to St. Louis—grounded in the foundations of the scene, honoring D&B’s roots while tracing the evolution of its more soulful corners, and joining forces behind the scenes and on the stage this time with hometown innovators, Faded Crew.
