Mr.Ward has been deeply embedded in the drum & bass culture since its earliest days, first catching the sound in 1993 before stepping behind the decks on vinyl in 1995. With three decades of experience and an ear shaped by the genre’s rawest roots, Scott brings an authenticity to his sets that only comes from living the music from the beginning. His sound leans into the darker, harder side of the spectrum — heavy jungle textures, gritty basslines, and that relentless driving energy that defined the culture long before it went mainstream. Two years ago he made the transition to digital, but the soul of his selections remains unchanged: grimey, uncompromising, and rooted in the jungle.
