PIRATES IN THE MIX 025 – DVS

DVS has been playing drum & bass since 2001 when he started North Carolina’s Jaded Junglist Crew. During his time in NC he could be found playing in clubs or house parties on any given weekend and notably performed at Planet of the Drums in Asheville and Charlotte in the early 2000s. His style could be defined as neuro with a splash of dancefloor as he often laces melodic tracks with harder headbangers, and contrasts heavy neurofunk with haunting vocals.

This mix leans heavily on high energy neurofunk with some deeper sections that give the listener a breather before the aggressive cuts kick back in. It features quick, razor sharp transitions throughout, and keeps you guessing what’s coming next.
