Before DnB, it was 90s alternative, trip hop and hip hop, but once drum & bass came along everything else became less important. The most surprising review came from Touchy’s dad, who got so wrapped up in a set while listening in the car that he realized he was lost.

What were you listening to before you found this music?

90s alternative, trip hop and hip hop, but once I found DnB everything else became less important.

What style or subgenre is underrated right now?

I think my sonic home (Liquid) is always underrated. Not complaining, but it’s part of why it’s so special to me. I tend to prefer less popular artistry.

Who's the most surprising person to ever compliment your set?

My dad recently told me he was listening to a set I’d sent him in the car, and he got so engrossed in it that he realized he was lost! 😂

What makes a small, intimate room special to play?

Easier to connect with the crowd when they’re front and center!

What song reminds you of home?

Home is where the heart is, and so I feel at home when I’m in the flow, listening to soulful music that touches my heart. Here’s one I recently discovered at the STL London Elektricity show (watch it above).
